All exchanges or refunds must be return postmarked within 14 days of arrival date. Item(s) must be in original condition (new, no tear, no odors, etc). Customer must provide original invoice and RA#.
Thevelvetstore.com can ship to virtually anywhere in the world. All products are quality inspected before packaged to ensure they are as advertised.
Any damage during transit or by recipient is the buyer’s responsibility. If the package is damaged during transit, Thevelvetstore.com will help with supplying information for the insurance claim if insurance was purchased by the buyer.
Thevelvetstore.com highly suggests that buyers purchase the appropriate insurance value for their purchase as Thevelvetstore.com is not responsible for any damage resulting from shipping carriers or buyers.
Thevelvetstore.com will ship all international orders via usps, and will ship to any country that usps ships to. All international orders must purchase a minimum of $50 insurance coverage.
Calculating Shipping Costs
All items are designated shipping weights instead of assigned flat rates to help keep shipping costs down, especially for multiple item purchases. All items will have either a tracking # or confirmation #. Thevelvetstore.com has an additional s&h flat rate for packing materials, confirmation (if applicable), and handling.
All in-stock orders will be shipped within 1-2 business days upon receiving payment.
- FedEx Ground usually arrives within 3-5 business days of shipping date within the 48 contiguous States.
- International shipping times vary.

Returns are for full item value and will not include shipping and handling costs
Please note, Custom Elvis Make-Overs or Custom Paintings are NOT refundable. The most important element in ensuring that you are happy with your custom painting is to submit an accurate photo that accurately depicts what you want painted. The ONLY information the artist has to work off of is the photo that is submitted. We guarantee that the painting will look very similar to the photo submitted, but keep in mind if you submit a picture of someone who is balding, they WILL have hair (Elvis Make-Over) and this often drastically changes the appearance of the “New King”. They will also have side burns which often change the appearance of the width of a persons face. In addition to the perfect photo submission, any extra wording on eye color, facial features, hair color, tattoos, moles, etc is greatly helpful in ensuring that the painting is perfect the first time. The “perfect” photo submission will accurately depict the individual in high clear resolution. A wallet sized photo is no where near ideal. The larger and clearer the photo the better. We do offer up to four revisions at no cost should you not be happy with the painting. After 4 revisions, the painting is yours. We are NOT responsible for the quality or choice of photo submitted. About 99% of our customers are extremely satisfied with their painting, but we have had customers who are not (2 in 6 years)– because they submitted a picture that was of poor quality and did not depict the person properly. Custom paintings are NOT refundable. We thank you in advance for your understanding. Please see a few of our examples for an accurate portrayal of how our custom paintings turn out.
Return and/or Exchange Options
If return & exchange policies are met, the following return or exchange options are available.
- Refunds will be by check, gift certificate, or credit applied to credit card.
- If available, exchanges may be made for the same type of item with different motive and/or color. If exchanging for an upgraded item additional costs will need to be determined. The buyer will be responsible for ALL shipping/handling costs in both directions.
Return items that are in unsellable condition, or are missing parts will be charged a restocking fee at our discretion.
Thevelvetstore.com will notify buyer via e-mail of refund once the item has been received and processed. Buyer can expect a refund within 3 to 14 business days after Thevelvetstore.com has received the return item.
